This week is appreciation week for our classified staff. These staff members might not stand in front of us in the classroom, but they are an important part of helping us learn. The publications staff wants to say thank you for everything that they do to help us. We couldn’t do it without them. To start the week off, we want to appreciate Patti Mason for all she does to keep tabs on Synergy and solve the great Tigard forecasting puzzle. 

Q: What’s your full name?

A: Patricia Mason

Q: When’s your Birthday?

A: June 29. Can I not give my year, lol?

Q: What’s something you look forward to when you come to school every day?

A: Seeing all my kids and seeing Rachel [Edwards] (Her office buddy)

Q: Why did you choose this job?

A: I am a Data Nerd. I love dealing with data and organizing; I also love being with students, and helping them. Mainly why I work here…for the students.

Q: What is your job?

A: I am a Curriculum Secretary – a big part of my job is dealing with your forecasting sheets, looking at the classes you chose, and putting them all together. Which is a very important thing for students. Their schedule.

Q: What’s one activity you enjoy doing outside of school?

A: “Momming,” taking care of my babygirl

Q: Do you think you have impacted any students, and how many if you could guess?

A: I don’t count, but if I at least impacted one student, then I feel I succeeded in life
