Instead of going home as the final bell rings signaling the end of another school day, some students start to head into the cafeteria. What for? This year’s play auditions.

Tigard High proudly reveals this year’s fall play “Dearly Departed,” a comedy following the story of the Turnip family learning to cope after a tragic death in the family. “I think it’s really fun to just play a different character instead of yourself and all of the energy you have up there.” responded Junior Evelyn Lopez after being asked what she enjoys about theater.

Starting November 12th, tickets will be sold for $8.00 general admission during both lunches at Tigard High, and in the Deb Fennel Auditorium lobby from 3:00 to 5:00 pm. Shows start November 19th through the 22nd at 7:30 pm.
