Evan Garrison, 2nd team all-league player and the Tigard Tigers basketball team play their first game  Nov. 30. This season they are hoping to win the league title and make it to the Rose Garden.

“If we work hard every day we should be good. Defense will be our key as usual,” said Coach Shawn Alderman.

Many people would say Tualatin is our rival, but Coach Alderman said they actually they have their eyes set on Century after the Tigers lost the league title to Century last year. Century will have most of their team coming back this year and seniors Evan Garrison, Conner Olson, Will Schaer, Robby Chabreck, and Brian Josephson will have to play hard and fast to keep the Tigard Tigers ahead and win the title this year.

“We should be a good defensive team and a good shooting team,” said Alderman. If they keep shooting like they do at practice they will do great on opening season.
