The Freshman Football Awards ceremony was held yesterday at the THS commons, The event included the Freshman Football players,their families, and their coaches. The ceremony kicked off with Coach Hansen congratulating all the players and their families, “ Hard work beats talent when talent does not work hard, and this team was talented and worked hard.” Quoted Coach Hansen. The players were called up to receive a certificate in three groups: Quarterbacks and receivers, running backs, and linemen. When Head Coach Ruecker arrived he gave a speech about the team and said “ This is just the beginning.” and “ I look forward to being with you for the next three years, all of you.” Concluding the ceremony each Coach received a football with all of the player’s signatures.
