The Tigard public Library needs art students to sign up to demonstrate water-coloring techniques at an upcoming children’s art fair.

The deadline for the sign-up is Sept. 24. The student artist will give a brief presentation on water color, working at a station for children ages 5 and older. according to Carol Barnett, a library volunteer.

Each person participating at the station will take home one finished art piece.

The Mega Craft Workshop will be held Sunday, Nov. 24 at the library’s Burgess Community Room from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. and is open to all ages.

Besides water-coloring, patrons will get a chance to make one-of-a-kind jewelry, stained glass art with Rae Campbell and gifts for friends.
