Oregon college representatives will visit Tigard High School on Tuesday, from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the main gym and neighboring classrooms.

Juniors and seniors — usually 450 students — attend this event to talk to nine state colleges and area community colleges including Portland State University. After a walk-through session, students can attend two break-out sessions of two schools they are interested in attending.

“This is a great way to learn about our state schools,'” said school counselor Sheila Kendall. “Students can learn about academic programs, student life, dorms, admissions and financial aid.”
