Now that the holiday season has come to an end, an exciting new year has arrived.

Once the holiday season is over it seems like there’s nothing to look forward to for some people besides breaks, but what’s going on at school in 2014? Though it may not always seem like it, there’s always things going on at Tigard whether it be clubs or sports. If you’re a sports fan or just want to support the team, the regular season winter sports have started up meaning there are always games, meets or tournaments to attend. Of course there are sports all school year long meaning shortly after the winter sports come to an end, the spring sports begin.

There’s something going on for everybody, though not everybody is into sports there are plays and band concerts throughout the year. Leading into spring which brings spring and summer break along with prom for the juniors and seniors. Though spring may end the school year, the year continues throughout summer into the fall where madness starts back up again. Fall sports begin in August and school begins again  in September. With the new school year comes the football season and Homecoming comes back around in October. the holidays come and go so quickly and they will be here before you know it.

It’s always good to go through the day having something to look forward to, whether it be the breaks or an event. The school year is packed with events meaning there’s always something to look forward to at Tigard.
