Tigard High School Theatre Department’s first production of the year, Almost, Maine, is something to add to your calendar.
This light-hearted yet touching play about the trials of love is set in Maine, in the fictional town of Almost.
The show will be running Nov. 17, 18 and 19, as well as Dec. 1, 2 and 3 at 7 p.m. in the Deb Fennel Auditorium. Tickets will be sold for $8 during both lunches in The Commons and cafeteria.
The lobby will be decked out with hundreds of hanging paper snowflakes, and concessions will be available. The auditorium itself is set up in a new black box style, where there are three sections of seating all facing a small, simple stage, which is quite the change from the 600 seats of the full auditorium.
“It’s been such a great experience to be part of the show. It should be a great play filled with lots of different levels of emotions and characters,” says senior Sydney Hutton.
So spread the love this holiday season by supporting the arts and seeing your fellow students in Almost, Maine.
