Tigard Tigers close out the league season with 59-26 lead over Tualatin

With the Tigers leading 59 to 26, Tigard Tigers beat the Tualatin Timberwolves yet again, ending the league with a perfect 9-0 record.
With Halloween on a Friday, the Tigers last league game, and not to forget, against their ultimate rivals, these factors added pressure and hype for the highly anticipated game of the season. Not only has this built excitement, but through the three rivers league, Tigard has battled the charts to become number 1 overall ranked team in the league.
The stadium, packed as usual, was filled with the Tigard army sporting an orange or tiger gear out theme.
Tigard football is well known for their ranking and talent, but what has also caught attention to many other schools, is the growing fanbase, otherwise known as the Tigard army.Through the humidity to rain and cold, students have stuck together from the very beginning, strong as an army and cheered their loudest at each and every game.
“It feels like no one hates each other and we’re all friends and all just supporting our family, the football team” spoke Freshman River Hilliard on this year’s football program’s success .
Tigard showed some extra spirit when during a time out, an unknown Tigard fan rushed onto the field and proceded to run across the turf in underwear, with ‘Go Tiger’s!’ on his chest, and a mask.
The league season may be over, but watch out! For Tigard is heading to playoffs once again!
