This evening, Tigard Cross Country dominated the top five against the Tualatin Timberwolves. Junior Elizabeth Dean came out in first place overall.
“The meet went really well,” said sophomore Natalie Shaw. “The weather was perfect and we all worked really hard.”
Even though the cross country meet was an away meet at Tualatin, the Tigers still came out with the win.
“Tigard did really well as a team, everyone ran hard even though it was a slower course,” said senior Joel Harbolt.
According to sophomore Kasey Kallevig, there were some hills on the course, but it was a fast course. According to Harbolt, the traction was not too good because it was mostly on loose gravel. It had a few small hills and was pretty repetitive.
“It was hard race, but I’m really proud of my Tigers!” Said Kallevig.
In the meet, the Tigers were unstoppable. They came through with a win even though the course was tough because of their hard work and dedication toward their sport.
