Tomorrow at 12:00 p.m., the Tigard High School Cross Country team will leave for the 2012 Cross Country Districts. The meet will be held at Clackamas Community College.

The meet will be against (among other teams) our rivals, Tualatin HS & Forest Grove HS. Both teams have good runners. The players to watch on our team will be Devon Roche, J.J. Caufield, Hannaly Duff-McGaughey, and Ellie Dean. The boys have a win/loss record of 5/2. The girls have a win/loss record of 4/3. Forest Grove is favored to win for the guys, Newberg HS for the girls.

When interviewed, Coach Holly Galonis stated: “Both the boy’s and girl’s team trained hard this season, injuries and all. This race is their time to shine, bring it on Forest Grove and Tualatin. “
