On Friday, Oct. 28, Tigard’s Varsity football team crushed Hillsboro from the beginning. The kickoff return was ran by number 22, Chance Taylor, who ran the ball about 60 yards, scoring Tigard’s first touchdown from the get-go.

“It’s great, you know, just having fun, that’s it,” said Taylor to a KGW reporter.

After Zach Floyd scored, the first quarter ended, with Tigard beating Hillsboro 20-0.

Tigard’s Jake Biglow, Brandon Wick, Benny Wick, and Manu Rasmussen went on to score a total of 55 for Tigard. The final score of the game was 55-7.

Tigard’s 8-0 record titled them the ‘Pacific Conference Champions’. Next week Tigard has a bye and go into the play offs undefeated.
