Monday, Oct. 24 the girls’ and boys’ varsity water polo team played tough games against Newberg High School. The Girls varsity team lost 11-4 and the Boys Varsity team lost 19-4.
However, there is still lots of potential for the girls’ varsity team. This season the girls’ team has won eleven games and lost only two, which makes them third in their league. Next week the girls will head to state playoffs where they will compete to make it to state.
Later this week the varsity teams are playing Lakeridge in a home game at 5 and 6 p.m.. On Thursday they are playing Barlow High School in an away game. The Lakeridge game is senior night so come support all your seniors!
