Tigard High girls and boys Water polo Team has gotten off to a great start this season. The girls’ team has played three games and won two of those. The boys’ team has played four games and won one.

For the girls team, this year’s captains are Tess Langseth-Depaolis (senior) and Brett Higgins (senior). For the boys’ team, the captains are Andy Pin (senior) and Gannon O’Gorman (senior). New players on the girls’ team this year include Avery Branen (freshman), Elizabeth Irving (freshman) and Clara Dunklee (junior). New team members for the boys include Kevin Li (senior), Adam Odeh (senior) and Kenny Nys (senior).

This weekend the varsity girls’ team has a tournament at Parkrose High School that starts Friday night at 5:30 p.m. Next week the boys’ and girls’ team play a home game against West Salem High at 5 p.m. and an away game against Newberg on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.
