Paris Fashion Week is a bi-annual week-long event, famous all over the world over for its presentation of the latest clothing designs. Over 98 brands and designers will put on defilees for “PFW.” From Chanel to Yves-Saint-Laurent and Hermes, luxury designers set the standard for the rest of the year during this week in March. The London, New York, Tokyo, and Seoul fashion weeks don’t even come close to Paris’ as far as media coverage and sheer turnout.

But why should we, high school students who can’t spend three hundred dollars on a cardigan, care about PFW? For the celebrities, of course! Celebrities from around the world cram the events at Paris Fashion week to keep themselves relevant.

Jennifer’s Body hottie Amanda Seyfried went straight from the Oscars Awards Show to Paris Fashion week to score a front row seat at the Givenchy show. Frank Ocean attended Givenchy, along with Christian Dior, Valentino, and Chanel. Up-and-coming singer and model Sky Ferreira also made headlines by grabbing a seat at the Saint Laurent show, the most exclusive and famous of them all.

Kate Moss, famous British model, made a rare public appearance as well after walking to runway for Louis Vuitton. At an exclusive party, she wore a sheer catsuit, showing off her bum. Scandalous!

Fashion week isn’t just to look at clothes you can’t afford after all. While the festivities may be over for now, check back next fall to keep an eye on all your celebrity crushes, because they make just as many appearances as the clothes.
