In preparation of this year’s Sparrow Bowl, there will be a Sparrow movie night this Friday at 5 p.m. in the Tigard High cafeteria. The movie “Polar Express” will be shown. Admission is free, but donations will be accepted.

This will be the third annual Sparrow Bowl at Tigard. Over the past two years, thousands of dollars have been raised to support a different Sparrow each year. This year’s Sparrow is Jhair, a fifth grade boy who attends Alberta Rider Elementary School. Jhair is currently battling a neurological disease. Attending the movie night and the upcoming Sparrow Bowl will help support Jhair’s family and medical bills.
