Everyone knows that holidays are just around the corner! It’s time to get into the festive mood with this week’s spirit days.
It’s hard to wake up on a Monday morning, and it’s especially hard to get out of bed. Luckily, today was Lazy Day making it socially acceptable to wear anything comfortable to school without looking silly. Things you could wear today were sweats, pajamas, or even footsies.
Tuesday is Twin Day. Choose a friend and try wearing the same color clothes and or even the exact same clothes on this day. You can jazz it up a bit by going to the extreme such as wearing neon knee high socks and a matching neon shirt with shorts. The brightness will stick out, it should be easy to find something so basic, and if you do it the right way, it will stick out. If you want to add a special touch, use fabric paint on the backs of the shirts to spice it up.
One of the reasons why a lot many people love snow is that it coats everything in a white blanket. Make sure to wear white this Wednesday because it’s a White-Out! No need to dress in all white attire. A plain white t-shirt or a simple white scarf will suffice.
In honor of the holidays, this Thursday will be Holiday Accessories Day. Grab a Santa hat and candy-caned patterned socks to make your outfit super festive. If you’re not comfortable with wearing accessories, just wear green and red.
The last spirit day is Ugly Holiday Sweater day. Make sure you break out the cheesiest, silliest holiday sweater you have and wear it proudly on Friday.
The purpose of spirit week is to get students enthused and supportive of the school. So let’s all be united this week before the holidays.
