One of Tigard High School’s biggest goals is to make sure the student body is friendly and diverse. Leadership is doing just that by hosting this year’s annual Cultural Meet n’ Eat.
“It’s to meet new people and to bring a lot of different cultures into [THS]”, said ASB Human Relations Officer and organizer of the event, senior, McKinley Smith.
The social event will be held this Friday Sept. 13 at 3 pm in front of the Cafeteria doors. Free food will be provided to students from all different types of restaurants like Qdoba, Jimmy Johns’s, Voodoo Donuts, and more. All students are welcome to join in, so right after the bell rings to dismiss class at 2:50, run over to the cafeteria to meet some new people and eat some great food!
