The movie “Toy Story” brings back many people to their younger years. This nostalgic theme was used at the THS back to school assembly where seniors Cameron Yarnell and Nathanael Ditton dressed as Buzz and Woody from the movie.

“I think everyone loves that movie,” said junior Lucy Dickinson. “The assembly was so funny and I think it lifted spirits for the school year.”

Following a performance by the Tigerettes, various students and teachers played a game that resulted in a pie to the face. Senior Ernest-James “EJ” Albaugh, dressed up as a vacation “Ken” doll, did the honors.

“The pie game was my favorite part of the assembly,” said sophomore Shaelyn O’Gorman. “I can’t believe the whole school saw teachers get hit with pie.”

     After the games, Ditton and Yarnell continued to express excitement for the upcoming football game against Aloha.
