If you plan to dress up for Halloween on Wednesday, the school administration wants to remind you of a few rules: First, masks are not allowed. And face paint must be minimal. You must be recognizable.
Weapon-like props will not be allowed and whatever you wear has to meet regular THS dress code standards. Nothing inappropriate or adult themed will be permitted.
Tigard High School’s leadership and clubs are inviting elementary school students to go trick-or-treating in a safe, indoor environment. The Halloween rooms will take place at 5 p.m. in the upper and lower rotundas and will be closing at 7 p.m.
Some of the many clubs participating this year are: National Art Honor Society, Fashion Club, Brazil Club, and the Thespians. Each club will decorate their assigned rooms and have activities to entertain trick-or-treaters. Each club will also be passing out candy because no Halloween is complete without treats and sweets.
