This past Sun., Tigard High School hosted a prom for the senior citizens and this event turned out to be the biggest Tigard has ever had for a citizen prom. Over 150 people total came to this event, either from the band, students or the senior citizens themselves. The theme was “Fly Me to the Moon” and each of the senior citizens lived it up. One of  the senior citizens told me something that really touched my heart, which was, “Live life because you’ll never know what will happen next”.

The senior citizens were great dance partners, teaching us how to dance and it demonstartes that age doesn’t mean anything when it comes to dance.
