Tigard’s varsity girl’s soccer rival game against Tualatin was on Monday, Oct. 15 at the TuHS field at 7. Tigard came out focused and ready for a fight. Tualatin was playing their usual passing game with high energy, but that didn’t stop Tigard from keeping up with the pace. Both teams took many shots in the first half but nothing went past the goalies ending the first half tied 0-0.
In the second half, both teams came out tougher than ever picking up the speed. Only a few minutes into the second half, freshman Natalie Bryant scores making it 1-0 Tigard. This caused Tualatin to push more and play a more aggressive game. Both teams picked up their energy but it was Tualatin that scored near the end of the second half. Tigard put up a good fight and ended the game with a tie 1-1.
