On Tuesday Oct. 9 Tigard High School’s varsity girls soccer team took on McMinnville at the THS soccer turf at 7 p.m. Tigard came out strong and confident in the first half. Freshman Natalie Bryant scored near the middle of the first half leaving the score at the end of the half 1-0. In the second half the referees weren’t calling anything which caused the game to turn dirty. There was a lot of pushing but luckily no injuries. Coach Paul Slover got a red card for yelling at the referees for not calling anything. Luckily junior Kyla Smart and freshman Natalie Bryant scored giving Tigard another win with an ending score of 3-1.
