Tigard High School’s varsity girls soccer team played against Glencoe on Tuesday, October 2 at the THS soccer turf at 7 p.m. Tigard came out strong and positive in the first half with high energy. Both teams were passing and maintaining a good speed but it was Tigard who scores first off a corner kick by sophomore Sarah Schaffer. Glencoe picked up their tempo and speed after the first goal. By the end of the first half the score was tied 1-1.
In the second half both teams pushed for the win but it was Tigard who scored first by junior Emilee Cincotta. Glencoe pushed back with a goal leaving it tied again. Freshman Natalie Bryant scored again, which leads Tigard for the win and the ending score 3-2.
