Tigard’s Girls Varstiy soccer played a tough game against Grant High School on Tuesday, Sept. 25 at the Tigard turf at 7p.m. In the first half Tigard set the speed and came out strong against Grant. With seven injured players, Tigard was not discouraged and stayed energetic throughout the first half. Junior Emilee Cincotta scored in the first half leaving the ending score at halftime 2-1 with Grant in the lead. Both teams came out strong in the second half but Tigard was unable to find their groove again which lead Grant with the win 3-1.
