Recently, I have been thinking about participating in stargazing, but the question is… where do I go to stargaze?

There are a few places around here that host astronomy activities, like star parties and planetarium shows in Portland. OMSI and Rose City Astronomers have two clubs that you can partake in where you can see fantastic star shows and various other things.

A little outside Tigard, there is an observatory in Oregon City called Haggart Observatory where you can “view stars, planets, and deep-space objects” through their telescopes.
