If you’re tired of hearing your friends complain about the changes that need to be made at school, or you’re frustrated about the problems that need to be solved, the Principal’s Advisory Council is the perfect club for you.
The club is designed for Principal Mark Neffendorf to get student input on the school. Sometimes, staff members of Tigard High don’t see the problems that students see. In this club students get the chance to talk to Principal Neffendorf personally about situations that they want to see fixed.
“It’s a great way to be involved in changing the problems going around in the school,” said sophomore Tate Watson, who was on the counsel last year. “Mr. Neffendorf really makes an effort to hear everyone’s opinion and make things right.”
Principal Neffendorf invites students to join his club. Meetings are held on Wednesdays during fourth block and sign-ups are now taking place in reception.
