Describe your job in 50 words or less
I am the luckiest person! I get to be with THS students, staff, and community. I am happy to work with Mr. Brian and help him as he works to help all of us. At the beginning of the day, I help the teachers and substitutes to get a great start. There is never a dull moment as my day evolves. It is “like a box of chocolates.” It is the best.
What’s your favorite part of working at Tigard? Why?
I love the kids and the staff! I love to help everyone and am privileged and humbled to get to work here. I love to be a part of Tiger Pride Week and appreciate all the incredible things that our students do every day and all year, too. I love seeing students doing what they love to do during school and after school. I love jazz bands! There are proud traditions here and I am happy my son graduated from THS and that my granddaughters get the opportunity to be part of the excellence in everything, here. I love it when I get to listen.
Every day, when I get up, my hope is that I will be there to help someone along their way.
What can/do students do that makes you happy?
I am happy when I see a student and say, ” Hello” and they totally smile and say “Hello” back.
“I like your costume!” (And I was actually wearing one!) .
What’s the funniest, coolest, weirdest, etc. thing a student has ever said to you?
“I like your costume!” (And I was actually wearing one!) .
Is there anything else you think we should know about you for classified staff appreciation week?
