Anatomy and Physiology 1 + 2

Anatomy and Physiology is a highly popular class that is taken by sophomores, juniors, and seniors that have previously taken Biology and another science course. Not only do you get to learn about the human body, but also you get to dissect animals and have the opportunity to go to a cadaver lab at George Fox University.

Ken Harms teaches both Anatomy and Physiology 1 and 2, and keeps the class lively and fun. “If you are interested in a healthcare related field, it is a stepping stone class like one you can take in college,” Harms said, “You can get college credit through Oregon Institute of Technology which is always nice to get a leg up in college.” You don’t have to be going into the healthcare field in order to take the class, if you want to learn more about how your body works and of your own physiology it’s a great class.

“The jokes are good, the food is even better,” Harms said referencing the “pigs ‘n a blanket” students have brought into the class for a particular unit in Anatomy 1.
